There are many walking, talking, breathing examples of the need for congressional term limits, and without a doubt a crusty, old Democrat back-bencher from New Jersey is one of them.
As the legitimate president, Donald J. Trump, continues to fight against the corrupt deep state as it seeks to rob him of the 2020 election, Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr., is doing his best impression of a Soviet apparatchik.
According to Insider New Jersey:
Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) today filed letters with the legal bar authorities in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, New York, and Pennsylvania, seeking the disbarment of Rudolph Giuliani and 22 other lawyers representing Donald Trump in his attempts to overturn the election and demolish democracy.
Even the reporting on this is BS. The president has a right to pursue legal remedies when he believes — correctly, in this case — that he has been wronged by massive vote fraud.
This isn’t a secret; this theft was done in the open. We all saw it in real-time. So any effort the president makes to make sure his nearly 75 million voters aren’t disenfranchised is actually upholding and trying to protect democracy, not “destroying” it. How absurd.
Meanwhile, Pascrell the hack noted, “As of today, President-elect Joe Biden has won the commonwealth of Pennsylvania by 81,487 votes, or approximately 1.18 percent, an outcome there is virtually no chance of reversing by a recount. Despite the difficult circumstances of this pandemic, Pennsylvania’s administration of the election was strong and there is no evidence of systematic malfeasance or fraud.
“Nevertheless, these individuals have filed absurd lawsuits seeking to overturn the will of Pennsylvania’s voters and caused irreversible damage to public trust in the fair administration of our elections,” he continued.
“We live together in extraordinary and increasingly dangerous national circumstances. At present, our sitting President has refused to accept the outcome of our national election and is attacking the integrity of our electoral system to keep himself in power. The pattern of behavior by these individuals to effectuate Mr. Trump’s sinister arson is a danger not just to our legal system but is also unprecedented in our national life. In carrying out that perversion, they have clearly violated the Rules of Professional Conduct they swore to uphold and should face the severest sanction your body can mete out: revocation of their law licensures.”
Yes, of course; Democrats can’t allow a Republican president to pursue any legal remedies if he believes he’s been wronged. Not at all. And for good measure, let’s take away his attorneys’ ability to earn a living while we’re at it. That’ll show them.
This fool doesn’t need to be in Congress; he needs to be locked away in an eldercare facility playing dominoes and harassing the nursing staff because a) he’s old enough; b) he is not of sound mind (which seems to be a requirement to be a Democrat in office these days); and c) he is a threat to our constitutional republic. (Related: Here is the evidence of election fraud and it currently includes hundreds of cases, encompassing millions of stolen or fraudulent votes.)
And for the record, the Trump campaign is making constitutional arguments, not seeking to “overturn the will of Pennsylvania’s voters.” Just a few weeks prior to the Nov. 3 election, Democrat state officials and a Democrat-heavy Pennsylvania Supreme Court changed voting rules and requirements, though under Article II of the U.S. Constitution, only state legislatures can do that.
Furthermore, in implementing some of the changes — which included allowing local election boards in certain (Democrat-heavy) counties ‘cure,’ or fix, ballots on the spot (but not allow that in Republican counties) — Democratic Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar engaged in a violation of the 14th Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause, which must be addressed (and thus reversed) if anyone is to take Pennsylvania’s final vote tally seriously.
And by the way, the last time we checked, Pennsylvania isn’t New Jersey, so what’s Pascrell doing worrying about results in the Keystone State?
This decrepit hack needs to be anywhere else but in Congress. He’s a threat to our form of government.
