While it’s been widely known for some time now that Wikipedia is so politically compromised that legitimate colleges and universities refuse to allow their students to cite it, the platform proved its left-wing bias again last week to protect the pathetic Biden regime and Democrats in general.
American wage earners have been devastated by Joe Biden’s war on fossil fuels and the Democrat-controlled Congress’ spending sprees, both of which have greatly contributed to the massive inflation we are seeing in every sector but especially energy, food and housing.
The inflation has gotten so high, in fact, that there was negative economic growth in the first and second quarters of this year.
For decades, two consecutive quarters of negative growth has been the definition for a recession, but Wikipedia’s left-wing ‘protect Democrats and Biden’ ‘researchers’ changed that definition and then locked the page so it cannot be changed back, as noted by the outlet Benzinga.
“Wikipedia has changed the definition of recession. Wayback’s last capture was July 11, 2022. Based on Wiki’s changelog, the line: ‘There is no global consensus on the definition of a recession’ was added on July 27. The page is now locked,” Twitter account Unusual Whales noted, adding a screenshot to back up the claim.

“In the United States, it is defined as ‘a significant decline in economic activity spread across the market, lasting more than a few months, normally visible in real GDP, real income, employment, industrial production and wholesale-retail sales,’” the site said.
Again, the Wikipedia page is a blatant lie.
Meanwhile, an updated Wikipedia page regarding ‘recession’ informs readers the page may be “affected by the following current event: increased political debate in the United States.” The page also warns viewers that an “outdated version of this article has been widely circulated.”
“In the United States, a recession is defined by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) as ‘a significant decline in economic activity spread across the market, lasting more than a few months,’” the new definition says, along with the phrase, “the definition of a recession varies between different countries and scholars.”
No, it doesn’t — or at least, it didn’t until Biden’s and Democrats’ lousy policies have produced two consecutive quarters of negative growth. Had that happened to President Donald Trump, you can bet that the Wikipedia page would have only been updated to make some sort of mention about “Trump’s economy.”
Only, our economy soared under Trump and the GOP congressional majority so inflation would not have happened in the first place.
The lie was so blatant by Wikipedia that it even got billionaire Elon Musk’s attention.
“Wikipedia is losing its objectivity,” he replied to a user, saying Wikipedia is not a political propaganda weapon as he tagged the site’s co-founder, Jimmy Wales, in his post.

Naturally, Biden’s regime is also lying about the real definition of recession, per Benzinga:
On Thursday, the U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was reported as falling 0.9% in the second quarter, marking two straight quarters of declines.
The definition of a recession has been a highly debated topic over the last several weeks.
The White House recently updated terminology for a recession in a blog post titled “How do economists determine whether the economy is in a recession.”
The post said that it would be unlikely the U.S. was in a recession even if the second quarter GDP came in negative.
“While some maintain that two consecutive quarters of falling real GDP constitute a recession, that is neither the official definition nor the way economists evaluate the state of the business cycle,” the post said.
The far left in the Biden era is destroying language, culture, biology, science and every other traditional fact-based norm in a desperate bid to wreck our country. We have to keep pushing back.
